What Our Customers Say
About Manchester Projector Services
Manchester Projector Services started on a simple frustration: too many perfectly repairable projectors were being thrown away because manufacturers and big retailers would rather sell a replacement than fix what's already on the wall. We specialise in exactly the jobs other repairers turn down — ageing lamps, tired colour wheels, dusty optics, and projectors that are 10, sometimes 15 years old. In most cases, a proper diagnosis and the right part is all it takes to get another few years out of a machine that still has plenty of life left in it. Today we work with schools, small businesses, churches, community halls, and home cinema owners across Greater Manchester — repairing, servicing, and supplying spare parts for every major brand. Every job gets a clear, upfront quote before any work begins, and every projector is bench-tested before it goes back to you.

Vision & Mission
Vision: A Manchester where a broken projector never means an automatic trip to landfill — where calling a repairer is the obvious first move, not the last resort after the manufacturer says no. Mission: We exist to keep good projectors working for as long as they can be worked on. That means an honest diagnosis before any quote, genuine parts and a full bench test on every job, and treating a 15-year-old classroom projector with the same care as a brand-new home cinema unit. If it can be fixed properly and it's worth fixing, we'll say so — and if it genuinely isn't, we'll tell you that too, rather than sell you a repair you don't need.

Our History
Manchester Projector Services started with one engineer, a workshop table, and a growing pile of projectors that big retailers had already written off as not worth fixing. Twelve years and thousands of repairs later, that's still the job: getting other people's 'unfixable' verdicts wrong, in a good way. Along the way we've grown from lamp swaps and dusty filters into full board-level repairs, colour wheel and DLP chip replacement, and a proper spare-parts supply chain — without losing the habit of giving a straight answer before any work starts. We've got classroom projectors back on screen by Monday morning, kept community halls and churches running on tight budgets, and helped home cinema owners hang on to a projector that still had years left in it. We're still based right here in Trafford Park, still bench-testing every unit before it goes back out the door, and still turning away far fewer jobs than the manufacturers would like.
